ABOUT STABLE STRIDES
In 2024, a group of friends who found comfort, peace, and joy at the barn had a simple but powerful idea: what if everyone could feel this way?
Horses have always been part of our local community, but access has too often been limited—by cost, opportunity, or circumstance. We wanted to change that. We wanted to create something special, something that opened the barn doors wide and invited the community in.
At Stable Strides Foundation, we believe in the unique power of horses to heal, teach, and inspire. Our mission is to expand access to the healing, educational, and empowering potential of horses by creating programs that welcome people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities. Whether it’s a child building confidence by reading to a pony, a teen discovering new skills in horsemanship, or an adult finding peace and presence alongside a horse, our programs are designed to foster connection, growth, and wellbeing.
We are equally committed to the welfare and wellbeing of horses. Many of our equine partners are in later stages of their careers, and Stable Strides gives them opportunities for enrichment, purpose, and partnership beyond competition and sport. Together, horses and humans form relationships built on trust, presence, and respect—reminding us all of the simple yet profound value of being seen and connected.
