Program Description
An intermediate horsemanship program where youth deepen communication, leadership, and practical knowledge in horse care and barn management. Designed for children 7-12 with some horse experience. Builds on the foundations established in Beginner Horsemanship. In addition to advancing their horsemanship skills, participants gain further knowledge in horse care, including basic first aid awareness, and an introduction to barn management routines. This added responsibility fosters confidence, independence, and a deeper sense of stewardship. Meets every Wednesday • 3:30 to 4:30pm

Program Policies
REGISTRATION Each participant must be registered individually. A completed intake form and all required consent information must be submitted prior to participation. ENROLLMENT & TUITION Enrollment is ongoing and billed monthly. Tuition reserves a participant’s place in a consistent weekly session and is not based on individual attendance. CANCELLATION & WITHDRAWAL Enrollment may be canceled anytime prior to the next billing cycle. No refunds or prorated tuition will be issued. PUNCTUALITY Sessions begin and end on time. Please arrive 5–10 minutes early and be prompt for pick-up. MISSED SESSIONS Missed sessions are not refunded or credited. WEATHER Sessions are held rain or shine when safely possible. In the event of severe weather, sessions may be canceled and a make-up or credit may be offered at our discretion. SAFETY, CONDUCT & COMMUNITY Programs take place around horses and follow strict safety guidelines, which must be followed at all times. We are committed to a respectful and inclusive environment and maintain zero tolerance for bullying, harassment, or unsafe behavior. Participants may be dismissed if safety or group wellbeing is compromised. CLOTHING Closed-toe shoes are required. Participants should wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing. Long pants are recommended. PROGRAM NATURE Programs are ground-based, experiential, and not riding lessons. They support confidence, communication, and life skills, and do not replace licensed therapeutic or medical services.
